Book now →Every lip appointment starts with what you actually want, and what your anatomy will do well. Mandy will tell you honestly if less product would give you a better result, and she will tell you if what you are asking for will not look right on your face. A half syringe is often the right starting point, especially for a first treatment or for lips that mainly need hydration and definition rather than volume. A full syringe gives more noticeable change. You do not have to decide before you arrive; that is part of the consultation.
Expect swelling. It is normal, it is usually most noticeable in the first 24 to 48 hours, and it is not your result. Bruising is possible. Most people are comfortable in public within a couple of days, and the lips settle into their true shape over roughly two weeks.
Lip filler generally metabolizes faster than filler in other areas, so most clients see several months to around a year depending on the product and their own metabolism. Mandy will give you a realistic expectation for the specific filler used in your treatment.
